## DRAFT — REVIEW BEFORE PUBLISHING

On 29 April 2026, **Drömlandet – berättelsen om det moderna Sverige** opens in the Machine Hall at Tekniska museet in Stockholm. Try New Things directed the audiovisual work in the exhibition, which the museum describes as its largest exhibition project to date.

The exhibition takes visitors through Swedish history from 1809 to the present, with hundreds of objects staged at scale. Among them are a Gripen fighter plane, a server from The Pirate Bay, and a control panel from Sweden's first nuclear power plant.

## Teknika & Neutika

Try New Things' work on the project is the audiovisual dramaturgy — how sound, image and space carry the story between the parts of the exhibition. The audiovisual installation *Teknika & Neutika* is the clearest expression of that work: two figures offering the visitor two ways of reading the same history.

> We wanted technology to have both a voice and a counterweight. Drömlandet is as much about what we hoped for as about what actually happened.
